Empowering Women and Girls, Transforming Communities: Uniting Strength for a Brighter Future!
United Generations for Social Transformation (UGEST) is a women led community-based organization established in 2024 and dedicated to fostering social equity, empowerment, and sustainable development, aligning its mission with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We started as a community group of university students both refugees and Ugandan nationals geared at awareness creation, supporting and linking women and girls to opportunities in Nakivale refugee settlement and Mbarara City.
UGEST recognizes the challenges faced by vulnerable groups, particularly orphans, vulnerable children, individuals living with disabilities, and survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
To be a center for empowered communities through education, equity, and sustainable development, fostering a just society rooted in inclusivity, transparency, and human dignity with and for the people.
